Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2007 9.0.6 R7 (Mac OS X)

Do Not Purchase This Software!

Intuit misleads Macintosh users by making this software available. I convinced a PC user to switch to Mac based on the fact that this software was cross-platform. THERE IS NOT PARITY BETWEEN THE MAC AND PC VERSION!!! The Mac version is SEVERELY crippled in comparison and Intuit has no plans to rectify the situation! She literally ended up selling the computer after finding she couldn't fully switch thanks to Intuit's deception. [alert admin]

SigAlert Traffic Maps 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)

VisualHub 1.1.6 (Mac OS X)

A Must Have!

It only took a few minutes to realize how great this program was. TRY THE DEMO! You won't be disappointed at how well it works and how much it can do compared to the scads of "one-trick pony" conversion programs out there. Well done, Tyler! [alert admin]

ViddyUp! 1.7 (Mac OS X)

Great Program!

Worth every cent and does a great job. If you want to have more flexibility in being able to convert almost any video source, you might want to take a look at VisualHub at visualhub.net - it's well worth the extra money. [alert admin]

Unison 1.7.6 (Mac OS X)

Nope!

Without complete keyboard navigation this otherwise excellent program is a no go. Being forced to use the mouse is not cool! This and improved filtering could make this program the Usenet champ. [alert admin]

Metronome 1.2 (Mac OS X)

The New Champ!

I am a professional musician and full-time music teacher. I use a software metronome on my Mac every single day and couldn't believe how sparse that decent metronome options are for OS X! Ron Fleckner's Metronome is far and away the best of the lot! The customizability and make this the best of the lot! Don't hesitate downloading this one first and then compare them to the others and you will find that this one is the champ! [alert admin]

Flip4Mac WMV 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Crash crash crash!

Now that they have M$ "official" support maybe they can get it to not crash Safari or QT with every play. [alert admin]

RapidWeaver 3.2 (Mac OS X)

Unbelievable

This product is almost 100% pure perfect. Everything that I choose the Mac platform for in the first place. The results are quite stunning for such a simple to use piece of software. There is room for improvement on a number of fronts and the developers seem to very excited about implementing them without losing the program's simplicity. .mac integration is just icing on the cake. Highly recommended. [alert admin]

DVD2oneX 2.0 (Mac OS X)

What a joke

A program that was heading in the right direction dumbed down and ruined. Too bad. $60 for version 1 and another $30 to downgrade to this. Backup your 1.4.2 and save your money. [alert admin]

Where is 'Mark all pages as UNchanged?'

Erm...you mean the "Mark All Pages as Changed/Unchanged" command under the File menu? In the time it took to post this, you could've gotten the answer by searching in the Help menu. It literally took 2-3 seconds.

Why should I trust Adobe?

You forgot Premier...they ditch that one too for years. I don't get any warm fuzzies about the fact they brought it back way later. The damage was done. I trust Adobe on the Mac platform at almost the same level as M$ - you are certainly taking your chances. Aperture is just as good and detractors forget how young BOTH products are. They will always ultimate achieve parity so it makes no sense to go with Adobe…

Are you kidding!?

This comment is so completely untrue that it smacks of intentional bad press. What exactly is your agenda, friend? This a great app at a great price and the developers put in a great deal of time and haven't charged for a major upgrade in a VERY long time. Take your lies elsewhere.

Mmm...a Beta not ready for prime time. What a concept. I invite anyone to download the program and check out the interface for themselves. It is wonderful and very Apple-like.
