TypeIt4Me X 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I've worked as a professional feature film and television writer for over a decade and TypeIt4Me is the one program I've used since the beginning - back when I started with a Powerbook 170 (what a great machine, three inches thick with its tiny black-and-white screen). Why have I stuck with it? Because it's simple and reliable. The first thing I do when I start a new script is make a copy of my abbreviations file and store my new character names. Do I use it a lot? I got my MacBook Pro with Leopard last week and installed the newest version of TypeIt4Me. According to the program (it keeps track of these things) in 5 days of use it expanded 5060 abbreviations, saving me 38,940 keystrokes, which, at my typing speed, saved me 1 hour and 50 minutes of typing. Not bad. [alert admin]

Disk Inventory X 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I love this program. Please update it for Leopard so I can impress all my PC friends who made the switch to Mac. [alert admin]

Bin-it 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
Works great! Love the adjustable "full" meter. Is there a way to lock it in place when using Exposé? Also, I miss that reassuring trash sound. [alert admin]

I've been searching months for a replace for my long lost sys. 9 notepad. Nearly every notepad out there is overly complicated -- I don't need nested flow charts or a built-in mpeg player! I want to be able to jot down random information and search for it quickly, just like I used to. Notepad 2.5 does everything I want. I can create unlimited pages and search them case sensitive. I can even import my old sys. 9 notebook. And it's free. You can't beat that. The only thing I can think to add is drag 'n' drop text editing. Thanks for a great application. I'm going to go donate.
