Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 (Mac OS X)

Works well on G4 system  

Downloaded and installed the upgrade (from v 3.0 to 6.0) on my 1 Ghz G4 TiBook (OS X 10.5.2). Had no problems installing, and have been trying it out for a while. It actually launches quicker than PSE 3 used to, and the help viewer (and guided help) seem much more useful. Will definitely be using the group photo merge, and like the split-screen before & after window option. No problems or crashes at all, so far. will probably do a more detailed review after using it some more. [alert admin]

Obama Blog Widget -Review  

The widget is a mid-sized scrollable window with pictures and text. The article length can be adjusted, using the controls in back. As far as the content: it is a mix of volunteer & fundraising info, daily campaign event summaries, and various news articles. Campaign volunteers and political junkies will most likely find it useful. Obviously, those who support a different candidate will not be so enthusiastic about it. And all those people who fall somewhere in between, might check it out once in a while, (but will not necessarily love or hate this software). [alert admin]

Update: Doesn't work anymore!  

ok, time to update my initial comments, - i've used Photoshop Elements 6 just a few times since installing it. Now, today it gives me the following message when i launch it: "You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling or reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help." There's no other info or options available besides that dialog…

I just downloaded & installed the upgrade for PSE 6.0. I purchased my copy, but noticed that once you install, it gives you two options: either to register it, or to do a 30-day trial.
