Man, That Was Ugly  

U-G-L-Y If you attempt to use from multiple machines, second one hangs interminably. No option to remove certain software packages from the scan. App basically shunts you to the web site. What was simple now has compounded clicks to get you the same result. Spent my 30 minutes on it. Moving on. [alert admin]

NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 3 (Mac OS X)

Not Quite There in Document Exchangeability  

Finally decided to remove from my system for now. The last simple document I prepared for my team, all Windows users, was rife with format issues in tables that hid data from view. I had to continually open the document in MS Word just to ensure fonts and formats. Finally finished the edit in Word. If that's what you have to do, what's the point? BTW, I found that Pages was much better at exporting to Word providing consistent results. Spreadsheet is another area. My company uses scripting extensively. Keep getting runtime errors when loading company spreadsheets. Neo is not a bad effort, just not ready yet in my view to use as an outright replacement for Office where everybody (almost) is using it. -- Jeff [alert admin]
