Concurrent Versions Librarian 27.6 (Mac OS X)
CVL is a key part of our development team's workflow - excellent software. I would give it 5 stars if it incorporated support for merging branches. [alert admin]

Eclipse SDK 3.0 M2 (Mac OS X)
There are a LOT of extremely cool features in Eclipse. However, it just falls apart with all of the implementation details - the speed is poor, the look & feel is very clunky, there are tons of redraw artifacts (don't even think about trying to use a font for editing besides the default Monaco), and it crashes or needs to be force-quit every 10 minutes or so. Great idea, great price, maybe someday it will be a great product. [alert admin]

First, when I launched the application, it hung forever on the 'installing files' step until I force-quit. Then when I relaunched the application and tried to do a copy, I could not highlight a destination disk on the right side (it is another computer with the *exact* same configuration running in Firewire target disk mode). I tried quitting it and relaunching one more time, and this time I got a message saying that the trial was limited to two launches (this was never mentioned anywhere in the download). I'm not about to buy the program to see if I can get it to work. [alert admin]

Does it work with Palm Reader?
I was not able to convert Palm Reader files that I purchased from Palm... it unexpectedly quits when I try. Is this standard behavior? [alert admin]

the software, so this isn't a review, but it seems like it would be much more useful (and secure) to allow you to upload files to other computers running the app, rather than having them download from your computer - similar to the iChat file transfer. [alert admin]

I've noticed this too, and haven't had time to try to debug it - try specifically adding the directory containing Terminal (such as /Applications/Utilities) to your list of scanned directories, and see if that helps.
