Why does installer need my password?  

This installer asks for my admin password, but it's not installing files in any location that requires it. Why is it asking for my password if it doesn't need it? [alert admin]

Ecto great unless you need HTML control  

I've been a long-time, paid-up Ecto user, and I'm looking for something new. My main gripe with this otherwise very useful tool is that it completely managles any custom HTML you may want to enter. Not complex HTML, either. Try this: 1. Create a new entry in HTML mode 2. Enter "a paragraph" and hit return twice 3. Enter "another paragraph" and hit return twice. 4. Switch back and forth between HTML and Rich Text mode a few times: no change. 5. Back in HTML mode, put div tags around the second paragraph, so it looks like "<div "foo">another paragraph</div>" 6. Switch to Rich Text: looks great 7. Switch back to HTML, to Rich Text, and then back to HTML: suddenly your first paragraph has a div tag around it also. Bottom line: if you have ANY need to edit HTML in your blogs, you CANNOT do it in Ecto unless you always use the HTML mode. [alert admin]
