Badia OpenNow Pro for InDesign 3.51 (Mac OS X)

Almost all of this functionality is already available, maybe not with a double click, but in the links and info palettes, or with a control click. $45 is way too much for this limited aditional utility. Jack [alert admin]

I have a map that's a fairly complex doc. The program has crashed every time I go to scan the file. CS2/OSX. For $50, the idea is that this program could gather all the fonts and so forth together. I can do the simple docs myself. This is over-priced and under-written, IMHO. [alert admin]

FlickrExport for iPhoto 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)
I agree with the above, it was nice in the v1 and free, but had issues from time to time. Now at $22 it's more than a Flickr subscription and does little more than the free Fickr Upload utility. The $22 doesn't even cover future upgrade according to the license. either. Make it $10 and I might reconsider. [alert admin]

I tried this out last night a few times as I wanted something to record a Google Earth Movie. They aren't long clips, but the software worked well, although the interface could use a little polishing. Capture slowed the Earth movie down some, but workable. No crashes or issues on my G4 Quicksilver, OSX.4.7. [alert admin]

dcRAW-X 1.5.6 (Mac OS X)
Seems superseded by the free Adobe RAW plug-in for CS. I guess if you don't have CS it'd be ok, but it is so slow I gave up on it quickly. [alert admin]

SSH Tunnel Manager 2.0b3 (Mac OS X)
Won't run on Jag 10.2.8/Wallstreet PB
I'd like to try using this to create an SSH tunnel to run AFP through. I works ok on Panther 10.3.5, but on Jag 10.2.8 the tunnel window won't open when I press the configuration button. Jack [alert admin]

Safari Prairiefire 0.9.6 (Mac OS X)
Interesting utility, but your demo is too limited in not doing a complete list and then not saving the list, ie it doesn't really do anything other than scan your bookmarks. I think a time-limited demo would be of more interest. It also found a lot of "Bad urls" that were simply websites asking for passwords. [alert admin]

Microsoft Virtual PC 6.1.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Won't Install & Link is wrong...
I downloaded directly from MS, as the above link was wrong. But the installer (labeled 6.1.1) won't install over my copy of VPC 6.1, just returns an error that "An eligible copy of VPC 6 can't be found", which is there in my Apps folder. Anybody know what gives? [alert admin]
