Yojimbo 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)
I love Yojimbo. I have used it daily since its release. But I have found its exporting options to be lacking. There is a great AppleScript here that will export Yojimbo's data to a TiddlyWiki. Thus it becomes portable across operating systems. [alert admin]

Speed Download 5.0 (Mac OS X)
SpeedDownload 5 is high-performance and incredibly useful. I bought it as part of the Mac Heist bundle, not knowing why I would want it. However, it was immediately obvious that this was a tool I never knew I needed, and now cannot live without. I am discouraged at the Mac Heisters reaction. This is great software. The 5.0 upgrade offers many very useful features. I am happy to pay the upgrade and support such useful software. Great job Yazsoft. [alert admin]

Yojimbo is a solid app. My main compliment is the fact that it never has crashed on me. It just works. It is a fairly simple app without many of the bells and whistles that come with comparable products. Development proceeds rather slow compared to those apps as well. But on the flip side, each update has been an improvement on the last, adding features and growing the app. I have yet to run into an update that caused a problem, and for that I am immensely thankful. Once I got used to all its input methods (i really like the quick input panel and the browser bookmarklets!) I have found Yojimbo to be an indispensable tool to capture information while conducting research. It is also an ideal place to store all your passwords and serial numbers with all the assurance of robust encrypted security. I love that I can trust it to store my data and do not have to worry about a crash corrupting the data. [alert admin]

Remote Remote 0.9.1b (Mac OS X)
This is the only iTunes remote application that works for me. All the others I tried were so poor that I had decided to make my own, until I found Brian's app here. It works quite well, even when multiple computers are all connected to the same machine running the iTunes. I was quite surprised to find that all the interface elements I wanted to control on the remote machine were all represented in this application. I can even set the rating of the song currently playing! Great job. My compliments on the interface too...I love how compact it is. [alert admin]

ElectropaintOSX 0.2 (Mac OS X)
I LOVE this screen saver! It works perfectly and creates quite a mezmerizing blend of squares dancing on screen. Suprisingly low processor usage as well. [alert admin]

Can you give any details? I have not yet had a chance to test this on a MacBook Pro or any other Intel based Mac. The first thing you should check is that you have "Remote Apple Events" checked in the Sharing Preference Pane. Without that this program cannot talk to iTunes on the server.
