Azureus BitTorrent Client 3.0.5.2 (Mac OS X)
The new Vuze interface is completely removable. You can configure Azureus to use the same old Azureus 2.0 interface. To disable the Vuze interface: Preferences > Interface > Start > Check the "Start in advanced view" box (and probably restart Az.) View Menu > Leave only the Toolbar selected Click the little white pill in the upper-right-hand corner of the window. There you go, back to the old interface. [alert admin]

Rita 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
You'd expect a developer to reply to your emails (especially when you pay for their app), but this one didn't. It's been 2 weeks since I sent my email and I haven't received a response yet, so I'm revising my earlier review. [alert admin]

Rita 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
It would be nice if rita supported the panning that a wacom pen can do, (as well as the zooming that the tablet does). [alert admin]

Wacom Pen Tablet 5.05-3 (Mac OS X)
I just got the Bamboo and installed this software (a little nervous as it installs a kext, but I guess you've got to do that with these), and so far it seems fairly stable, and the features are great! I'm glad they didn't skimp on the mac version. And the only complaint I have is that this thing isn't entirely Universal. Everything is Universal except for the driver: "TabletDriverCFPlugin.bundle", hopefully this was just an oversight and will be fixed in a future release. -1 star for that for now. [alert admin]

Rita 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
I just got a wacom Bamboo tablet and this thing supports it wonderfully! The eraser works, it detects pressure, etc. Besides that it's just the best drawing application I've seen for OS X. It makes drawing... non-scary. And it even allows you to write your own Lua scripts to create your own pens and brushes! Awesome!! [alert admin]

TI Connect 1.7b7 (Mac OS X)
How can a company as large as Texas Instruments be so incompetent? I could have written your silly software, by myself, for intel by now. Several times. And it would be better than the current version. Pathetic. [alert admin]

Transmission 1.05 (Mac OS X)
...and Azureus when I need to do "real" torrenting. I can count on Azureus to give me the features and flexibility and power that I want, and I can count on it not crashing, or hanging, or killing my router, etc. If a pretty UI matters so much to you, then go with Transmission, but if you're "serious about torrenting", Azureus is the only way to go. Apple Numbers 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
It has a *decent* interface, nothing spectacular, and it's missing many features. Like, why is it that I can't import CSV files? Shouldn't that be a pretty basic thing? Or what if I want pasted numbers to go across columns instead of across rows? The graphs do not make it easy for you to specify what data you want to go where, what is the independent and dependent variables, etc. All in all I'm very disappointed, and I've also wasted way too much of my time trying to get this thing to do what I want. For shame Apple, for shame... [alert admin]

It's not doing anything suspicious. It's just doing something stupid (checking to make sure AIM quits and setting the correct permissions on it unnecessarily).

Most likely something on your end, I've a MBP and it works fine here. Why are you compiling it? They have a universal precompiled version...

Apparently it *can* import .csv files, but it's too stupid to figure it out on its own, so you just have to make sure that their extension ends in .csv (and not .txt or something else). Gee Apple, I don't know, but it must be pretty hard to write an algorithm that can figure out that this contains two columns: 1234, 4567 1234, 4567 1234, 4567

What do you mean? It does alter the files themselves.

I think this may have been caused because one of the themes contained an alias to another folder called "Dock Resources". I forgot to mention that it froze when I clicked the "Apply" button.

I did not have to pay for a new activation code. Don't know what you're talking about. You should have gotten an email, send the author an email if you didn't.

Sure, as long as the jokes are tasteful. The jokes are never about people laughing at those who died, those would be worthy of your b*tching. The ability to laugh about these things shows good mental health among people; it's wrong to dwell on such things and cringe whenever someone says "Bin Laden", that is what's indicative of an immature mind.

Oh yeah, not to mention I'm sure that the developer's grateful for the publicity resulting from your complaints. :-)

Look, it's really quite simple. People want to be able to view the video files they download. VLC and mplayer will play more of these files. People don't care if the person did a poor job of encoding them. I'm not even sure if this is true actually, you're claiming that someone poorly encoded the video I have without even having any information about this file. The fact is that…
