Enigmo 1 2.0.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Why so many updates this month? This last update has rendered my game useless again! I will have to re-download the full install again. Why do this to paying customers? It just hangs on startup... [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.0.3b (Mac OS X)
I just installed the beta and the only language available is English. Why wasn't it stated and why isn't there documentation? If I use the uninstaller I'm left with nothing right? I'll have to look for for my Tiger installer DVD. Why wasn't it installed next to the old not replacing it? Shame Shame Shame [alert admin]

Griffin iMate X 1.5.3 (Mac OS X)
this is the response I got from Griffin Technology: "The iMate is not supported in OS 10.4. Apple has removed more and more support for serial device in every iteration of the OS. If it is not working for you, I suggest you return it to the vendor from whom you purchased for a refund. Thanks" They are now turning down customers??? This has been such a waste of time and money for me. All I was connecting to the machine was a simple keyboard and mouse. And here is my response "http://griffintechnology.com/support/imate/IMATE-012.php Here it says that the iMate is supported in OSX. Why wasn't it stated that it isn't supported in OSX 10.4? I spent more money on shipping the iMate than the iMate cost me! I am not about to spend the same amount of money to send it back. Very very disappointing. OSX 10.4 has been out for about a year now, why hasn't this support issue been stated? Why hasn't the software been updated? Can the iMate driver not include numerous drivers for various serial drivers? or guide us to a site that has these available for download? This is Griffin Technology's job to do as supplier of this kind of device. To keep support for it ongoing. I need a reply, or a direct refund, you can pay for postage." [alert admin]

I couldn't agree more. It's not the kind of application you can leave running all day in the background. Then again, nor are any of the alternatives. I've always had memory complications with poorly performing Java code. Lately, I have to choose my applications carefully. It's very hard to find a Java application that performs the way it's supposed to, or performs anywhere near that of an application written in Cocoa.
