Adobe Media Player 1.1 (Mac OS X)
As said , it works fine on a newer iMac. Quicktime will play the ,flv file WITHOUT sound. Only criticism so far is that window appears to be all or nothing. Original file ( very small on 24" iMac), whilst full screen looks like a 1981 VHS player (tape) played on a newer TV? [alert admin]

Apple Aperture 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Trying to download the 30 day Aperture trial
HELP!! There is NO "click the "Request Serial Number & Download Aperture" button" on the Aperture Trial Page . If one fills out the form, goes ahead and reads the "legal" goodies, there is NOTHING to click on, except a ~~~ corner box ehat says ... "Click here if you’ve read and agree to the terms and would like to return to the Trial page to request a serial number and download the Aperture 1.5 Trial. If you do that, you are returned to the previous page that one filled out requesting a trial, except the page is now blank again? Am I or is Apple missing something? [alert admin]

Yoshi, the developer may have produced a great product judging by user reviews, but he should really utilize the services of a Japanese -English translator. He did make some changes on his website based upon suggestions made by an English speaking Japanese colleague of mine . Why he even promised a "reward" for help. However no reward was forthcoming. I guess he wanted the whole website "fixed" for free? [alert admin]

Java Embedding Plugin 0.9.5 (Mac OS X)
If I go to the Source Forge for this and or GutenPrint, all I get in Safari, Firefox, Opera etc is a blank page...both on iMac and iBook, running 10.4.2, NetBarrier and Extreme Speed cable modem? [alert admin]

Ever checked out Folder Sentry in Clam Av. You can set it up to watch important folders... eg Users/Your Name/Library/Mail Downloads Users/Your Name/Library/Mail Users/Your Name /Documents Users/Your Name/Desktop Library/File Systems etc. I have some 14 folders being watched. I also MANUALLY update my virus definitions daily. I find the latest version Version 1.1.1 ( 185 ) to be trouble free. Even found a phishing , supposedly E Bay e mail requesting account details! Highly recommended!

won't download.. it is a joke!
Same here.... it is so SO slow. Downloads at 9-10k a sec whilst SeaMonkey update just downloaded at over 600k sec ( 1/60th the download speed ...I'm on Extreme Cable) Then when downloads it won't mount disk image. Some tech tool huh? A Paleolithic tool! Where are u Barney?

I went to SeaMonkey browser rather than Safari, googled MacUpdate page and voila. Downloaded around 60k /sec in 2mins 12 secs! Installed. Suggest one ties that route!

I agree that review is totally irresponsible. I've used this software since Version 2. Had to contact support re a Leopard glitch and had a fresh install link and new serial # within an hour. Excellent support for very good software.

Crashes on 10.4.10 - Symbol not found: _open$UNIX2003
Strange ! Version 8.4.44 works PERFECTLY on both my old G4 ibook ( Nov 2004) and my Core Duo (Jan 2006) i Mac on 10.5!

great software but..............
I don't know. How hard it is it to simply click on 'download' in Version Tracker and then simply drag it to your Application folder? As for serial number, simply save data using text edit and then save the file to your Documents folder!
