Pandaa Frequency 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Need an update!

If the developer is still around, would you mind compiling an Intel version of this? Or if you're too busy now, consider opening the source. [alert admin]

AudioLeak 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Very Interesting

I was just scanning the printmasters from our last mix, and this program does appear to work and gives some very interesting data. I'm afraid to make suggestions on something that just works and is free, but:

  • It'd be great if the graph could be printed, with the Leq numbers and the name of the file.
  • It'd be nice if the dB scale could be offset for a particular reference level (like -20dbFS)

Doesn't seem to launch

Double-clicking on the app doesn't seem to launch it. The .app folder seems to be all in order, can't figure it out. Running 10.4.1 [alert admin]

Hollywood Calculator 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Timecode entry should be easier

Timecode entry should be more straightforward; the colons should be implied after each two digits. Typing 12345678 should produce 12:34:57:18 at 30ND (the current behavior is obscure and I can't see how it might be useful). I like the size, though. Stays out of the way, unlike some things. Very Interesting

Oh yeah, and just about every time there's a disclosure arrow, there should be a checkbox I think; I think it would make things more clear.

44100 would be very useful

In regard to this, just so people don't get too bummed out, you can type 44.1 in th e sample rate field, and the calculations will work properly. The slider issue can be worked out.
