The Decider Countdown 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Surprised no one's done this before now ![]()

Had to check this out in response to a particularly nasty review that had nothing to do with the app itself. Yeah, it's strictly a novelty, but one that promises to give me hope everyday. A reminder that yes, the pendulum DOES always eventually swing back the other way. Nice little widget. [alert admin]

I bought a copy of this a few months ago, then lost my registration during a system crash. In the meantime, I got an ad for Allume's Aquazone, which offered more features and more cool fish, so I bought and downloaded that for $20. All I have to say is that 3D Aquarium is by far the better deal--Aquazone is a huge CPU hog, and has poor resolution. I agree that it would be cool if you could turn off the sound of the pump and just hear the water... [alert admin]

FontNuke 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Got this app to work once, and it was great.
Then I downloaded a newer version (1.1.0), and got the "NilObjectException" message. I just downloaded ver. 1.1.1, thinking I'd try again, but no luck. Doesn't matter where I install it, it just just won't open. [alert admin]

No Covert Art following this Update
Yes, I have the same problem. In fact, I downloaded songs from the iTunes store since I installed it--the cover art initially downloaded with the songs, then disappeared. Oddly, artwork for a PODCAST I downloaded at the same time is still there--it's just music art that vanishes. Post a fix if you figure it out.

I used this app recently for the first time, and it may be a coincidence, but I lost the ability to print, too. I reinstalled the printer drivers more than once, but I couldn't get the printer to communicate until I reinstalled OSX. Actally, I like what OnyX does, but I'm leery about using it again.
