iTerm 0.9.6 (Mac OS X)
SnoLeopard Build 0.9.6.20090928 issue
Several have experienced problems on updating to current 0.9.6 build from earlier 0.9.6 builds (.20090920;.20090923) to the current one after SnoLeopard upgrade last month. Found a fresh install to a separate app directory allowed update with out the update error. for Build 0.9.6.20090928 Still some minor VT100 screen issues coordinating with AIX terminal utilities like smitty that were not a problem in 0.8 revs . But base mac terminal ap does sync properly to the screen action function keys. Still very good utility since early summer releases. Don't be a sponge .. Donate time or $$ to "freeware" . Firefox 3.0.10 (Mac OS X)
3.0.10 Stability still a problem
this has been my preferred browser for years .. Evenove my own companies product. however recent versions 3.0.8,9, and now 10 have been very unstable. Its crashing several times a day . and nearly every other time I try to print to a network printer So now i'm pulling back a 3.0.5 version from backup to rollback to a fairly stable version of firefox.. I've just tired of trying to keep this thing up and now losing work. I've had the saem problems on G5, dual quad tower, and intel powerbook's so I've givenit a fighting chance not to be screwy. Yeah, I have one of the first 500 original iPods and tried a couple of pod tools before sticking with this for over 6 years. Now I'm onto my 3 personal ipod and wouldn't consider using the std iTunes Sync to organize the variety of Macs I use at home and work.. iPod.iTunes keeps getting better and allows control that my iTunes just gets in the way of without wasting company Macs disk and backup. Been through G3,G4,G5, MacIntels, desktop and portables. With over 36,000 songs, audiobooks, podcasts, it takes a while to grind through the several dozen playlists that I keep centralized on my home central server. I always wait until its updated before considering an iTunes upgrade because its become a utility that makes the base iTunes more valuable. [alert admin]

iPod.iTunes 3.4.6 (Mac OS X)
This is a great utility. I bought this as shareware (iPod2iTunes) 5 years ago and kept it up to date ever since. iPod-iTunes does just what it is designed to do ; move those tunes to and from my multiple ipods and Macs . I work at 3 locales and juggle 4 iPods, all legit as they are included in my itunes account list. I also keep a well structured music Library of 20,000+ with extra tags. So yeah update checking can take awhile since Apple went to USB only connection . The fire wire ones still scream. Its functions are so valuable , I now wait to update iTunes until after iPod-iTunes gets released for the new iTunes. The longest delay was only two weeks ( The guy was at the developers conference so couldn't get it out within a few days.). For Support, I'd sent an issue via email about 3 years ago on a major upgrade. Got appropriate response. (From a non-native english speaker,it was accurate, good and timely). Its a very simple utility to use so Documentation is nearly nil. Buy and enjoy [alert admin]
