FileZilla 3.2.3.1 (Mac OS X)

Simple and excellent

I've used several versions of FileZilla for uploading and downloading files to my websites during building and maintenance. Though it is a little clunky, especially its interface (being something like an old Windows style), I've found it excellent and effortless and reliable. Even when other FTP programs wouldn't connect for odd reasons, FileZilla just carried on as though nothing was up. I love it. It's easy and clear to navigate local and remote files and folders and shows clear info for upload and download status, size etc. I haven't found any 'folder sync' function but then again I never use that so haven't looked very hard. TinkerTool 3.92 (Mac OS X)

Great, as always!

Have been suing this tool for years and it is terrific - features, stability, reliability... everything about TinkerTool is excellent. I also use TinkerTool System for some other functions which is equally good. Thanks and please keep up the good work! [alert admin]

Speed Download 5.0.4 (Mac OS X)

MUST-HAVE on the road

I've used Speed Download for years and I find it essential, especially when traveling. I'm always on the road where unreliable and/or uncertain internet connections make this is a great app to 'get up there, get it down and get offline again' as quickly and effectively as possible. I love Speed Download and put it amongst the top of my toolkit list. [alert admin]

NO WARNING

I've used this utility for years on many OS versions - ABSOLUTELY NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. HimmelBar is a terrific asset on the Mac, it's so small in the MenuBar and really efficient and useful. No need to waste time setting up any alternative methods to achieve what this does straight from installation. Easy, simple, efficient, reliable. Well worth a donation in my opinion.
