MyTunesRSS 3.0 rc8 (Mac OS X)

Does Not Work For Me

Unfortunately my experience with this software has not been a good one. I wish I could give 5 stars and sing its praises, as so many have. All I get is a world of DNS, Connection, and Server errors. Every network adjustment and/or change in setting only ends with a new error. I do not know if it is my hardware, software, network settings, or a combination of those, but without consulting a network work engineer using this software does not seems to be as automatic and easy as some have experienced. iTunes CD Printer 1.0b4 (Mac OS X)

Needs work...lots and lots of work.

To charge (even 7 bucks) for beta software that barely works doesn't seem like a good bussiness practice. UNLESS money paid inclueds a free upgrade for the final product. Where does iTunes CD Printer need work. First the Jewel case insert. I tried 2 times on 3 different inclued templates and could not get the printed covers to match up to the perferated edges of the lables. With Stomper cd case paper the paper has to be placed in the printer upside down to the manufacturers directions. Worst of all the tray card is printed the verticaly and the cards are inserted horizonaly. this leaves and image sideways with a 1 inch unprinted paper on each side and print image over run on the top and bottom. The CD label is one feature that should be pulled from the final product. Its good (not great but good) as long as your cd label has the artist name and/or cd tital name at the top or bottom. If it is the middle or in the far corners the round cd label will cut off the text and the hole for the cd will cut off any information in that 1 1/2 inch area too. The CD label mearly repints the CD case card. The iTunes CD Printer is a great idea. I love its easy interface and the print quality is very good. If your like me and you dread your visa bill with all the $9.99 charges from the Apple ITMS. Then you are looking for good software to make the best possible labels. This isn't it. At least not quite yet. [alert admin]
