MathMagic Pro for InDesign 5.3 (Mac OS X)
InDesign should handle the inline graphics better to make it work better with tall equations ![]()

Other than the slow InDesign, some of InDesign's limitations, like the text engine's not-smart line spacing when having one or more tall objects, sometimes cause tedious work to make the next line not to overlap over the equations. Is someone has a trick or solution for this? Other than these InDesign's limitations, we are happy with MathMagic Pro. Well, MathMagic for Indesing is a bit cheaper than MathMagic pro for QXP, but not accessable for many small offices or freelances. [alert admin]

MathMagic Pro for QuarkXPress 5.3 (Mac OS X)
Why no review for this, while Mathmagic pro for Indesign has several? We are now using both QXP and InDesign, to meet our clients' request. MathMagic Pro application seems to work quite same for both QXP and Indesign but QXP's text engine works better with the Inline graphics(those equation objects as well). MathMagic Pro solution itself is great in terms of ease of use, productivity, and equation quality for publishing. The only barrior is the price. [alert admin]
