what OS release you're using. I testet with 10.2.3 on 3 machines and I always got a picture at least :-) the "loss of second drive when booting" was intended. The "boot" button completely resets and boots the selected disk in drive 1. You're supposed to boot first, and then to insert the second disk. Maybe that's not so obvious or good and I should change it again. But I really am interested in the "no picture" thing. h. [alert admin]

II, III, IV ? Could not reproduce this. Arc: I did not have that problems with Questron II either. Did you press "Save" button before changing disks ? I know there is a problem with half track accesses, maybe that's the reason. [alert admin]

need a G3 500 to decently run OSX anyway ? If you don't use GL, you'd use some other rendering in OSX - making it less portable - and isn't that overkill aswell ? There are some good emulators for OS9 and even MSDOS - but isn't the point that many of us prefer native OSX apps ? [alert admin]

see that multiple disk drives would be nice - but for now I intended the user interface to be as simple as possible. I was thinking of it before - like implementing it with just another "insert drive 2" button and some status line showing the two images inserted. what do you think ? [alert admin]

the -n option just grabs the n-th frame. sometime the isight needs to adjust itself somewhat and this option will allow you to skip some frames after initialization of the camera and grab the nth frame.
