Island Racer 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
As much as I'd love to like it, it just feels too much like the Unity3D racing-game tutorial, physics wise. The random terrain feature is actually a very great idea and it works. The graphics itself are, while they don't look bad, rather outdated, a few nice touches but from a 19.95 game I would expect more. The driving itself is quite horrid, it's not arcade'ish or a proper simulation. The turning circle at low speeds doesn't match the alignment of the tires. The tires are screeching permanently when you're on the throttle. The engine sound and revving is just the same sample pitched up, which sounds more annoying than anything. I didn't even find a menu entry to quit the game, CMD+Q however worked. I'm sorry, but "It's not finished." is about the best I can say about this game. It needs some serious work. [alert admin]

Clan Lord 554 (Mac OS X)
This must quite possibly be the worst MMO I've ever tried. In addition to the fact that the developer is trying to get the rating up by posting fake reviews. [alert admin]

In the Mood 0.7.2 (Mac OS X)
Huh, why would I need an extra app for a basic feature/option that already is in Skype and has been there for centuries? [alert admin]

Apple Aluminum PowerBook 15 1.1 (Mac OS X)
After applying the new Firmware update, no more f or special keys are working, including eject. The System Preferences Keyboad and Mouse pane crashes when trying to open and the mouse speed has gone up to straight unusable. Fascinating what a keyboard update can bork. [alert admin]

Even Beta Software should at least connect
But this does refuse to, on every single of our machines. [alert admin]

Redline 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
This game has just proven that awesome racing games aren't Windows/Console only and don't have to cost $59 to keep you entertained big time. Been following the development and publications closely for quite a while - this was worth waiting for though. :) Thank you Ambrosia. [alert admin]

It's actually running quite stable and decently fast nowadays. Just missing some basic featers like importing into an album, actually being able to drag images out of Aperture and some iPhoto compatibility would be nice (Photocasting is still a cool thing) and the ability to manage and create multiple web galleries easily. Ah well, will see what it's going to get. :) [alert admin]

Quicktime is open and well documented since 1992. I wouldn't call that proprietary to be honest.
