iPalmMemo 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Why pay $9?

When for just a bit more, you can get Mark/Space missing sync that adds a memopad conduit and desktop app plus a TON more features? (iPhoto & iTunes sync, desktop mounting, AvantGo support, etc.) [alert admin]

File Sequencer 0.3 (Mac OS X)

Best interface, but S...L...O....W...

Too slow for regular use. I am on a FAST G5 system, and the "sorting files" operation alone takes more than 10 minutes on a sequence of 1600 frames or so. If that problem were fixed and the following two features were added, then this would be the best renamer out there: 1. please add ability to preview before applying name change (to check to make sure settings are correct - look at the app "file renamer" for what I mean) 2. under "new name and numbering", have the interface copy the existing filename of frame 1 so that you can change it right there without having to re-type it. AuctionGenie 3.0 (Mac OS X)

Yikes!

I haven't seen a piece of OS X software this unpolished and scary-looking since, well, OS 9! This is actually a front-end for a Filemaker database, and just the fact that it opens two separate apps then doesn't close both when you close the main window is enough to turn me off. I can't believe this person is charging $ for it. It seems like a programming student's assignment to me. [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 4.0 (Mac OS X)

Looks like they…

pulled the version 4! When I try and download, it still gives me the version 3.01. Maybe this was released a bit too soon? [alert admin]
