LaLL 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
This little application works very well and is very useful. The only improvements I could think of would be to make this a menu item or some GUI that might allow one to push one button so as to perform one routine. [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.0.525 (Mac OS X)
This beta is useless because it renders all video to green, pixelated blobs. Adobe has been in the slow process of killing Flash as a tool, especially since Silverlight came out. [alert admin]

Vuze BitTorrent Client 3.1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
"Vuze" seems to work well enough. I have noted that it is slower to close down that the last incarnation of this software, so much so that I was almost considering performing a force quit on the application. Perhaps this now needs another bug killing cycle rather than new tweaks to refine its performance. [alert admin]

Schreiben 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Why should I upgrade to Leopard just for a word processor? The GUI looks really nice but not supporting Tiger is not a good idea, IMHO. [alert admin]

RapidoWrite 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I've posted a bug report but this does not work for my average G4 setup, running 10.4.11. It just sits there, taking up CPU cycles . . . [alert admin]

Hordes of Orcs 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
I have found that sometimes the main GUI stops working (buttons loose roll-overs and can not be selected), resulting in having to restart the application. The last scenario off capture the flag tells me I lose even if I am still keeping the orcs from running off with the treasure chest! That certainly can not be right. [alert admin]

Skim 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
Skim bombs when going to: preferences/notes so as to adjust the settings. The dialog box overdraws two separate screens and locks up. This is under 10.4.11 [alert admin]

Hordes of Orcs 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
The graphics and style of play are good. The only significant problem I have seen is that once there are many Orcs on the game field, the moving around with the mouse gets sluggish and clicking on buttons becomes difficult to control due to lag time with on-screen rendering. This is running with a G4 800 and over a gig of RAM too. If this lag could be remedied, it would be quite a decent game. [alert admin]

I have noticed that, upon occasion, after typing a series of keystrokes that were not a part of any keyboard macro title, a grey input dialog box would quickly pop up and disappear. This is potentially odd if not buggy behaviour since no macro title was typed, thus there should be no window pop-up.

Yes, I could drop and add PDF files to iTunes but it does not give one the abilities that Yep gives me (tag words, searching, preview from thumbnails, scanning, etc.). It is an interesting experiment but iTunes is not useful for handling PDF files.

I discovered what the problem is with running this software. I needed to update my version of java from 1.6.0_06 to the current Apple version 1.5.0_13. Upon doing this, Azureus works as it should, running 10.4.11

I have figured out how to get this software to work. My version of Apple java needed updating from 1.5.0_06 to 1.5.0_13. Having done such, Azureus now works as it should.

Sibelius is not the first software developer to support VST and AU, rather Geniesoft's "Overture" has that distinction and is much easier to use than Sibelius. Sibelius has so many "secret handshakes" to use that it reminds me of computer game built around a hunt for treasure. One should actually read the manual again and again, just to do fairly simple tasks, which should not be. I believe this difficulty was what…
