DVDRemaster 5.2.2 (Mac OS X)
5.2.2 doesn't support my external burner
Be prepared to reinstall 5.2.1 when upgrading to 5.2.2. I have an external DVD burner because the internal superdrive failed long ago. When I started a burn with 5.2.2, it gave the message that my drive was not supported. It was not possible to select it over the superdrive, as it had been in 5.2.1. [alert admin]

Radioshift 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
The original version worked OK, but after "upgrading" to 1.0.1 I have had trouble in getting any sound to come out. Some stations were OK, but most were not. Found that in those cases where I was not hearing anything, Radioshift was playing through my Skype internet phone handset. I have not been able to correct this so far, but have emailed Rogue Amoeba, who are usually pretty good about help. I have an original Intel iMac using 10.4.10 [alert admin]

Pando 1.5.5.0 (Mac OS X)
you don't try to send a folder that ends in dot option f (i.e. ".ƒ"). 1.5.5.0 can't handle that for some reason. [alert admin]

Pando 1.5.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Latest version 1.5.0.1 has still not cured my inability to upload files as I once could. See my earlier comments. [alert admin]

Pando 1.5.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I had been advised by the creators of Pando that the new version (1.5.0.0) might cure the problems I listed in an earlier posting (below), but sadly those problems still exist. [alert admin]

Pando 1.4.0.3 (Mac OS X)
I hate to knock a product that I used to think was terrific, but I have not been able to get the most recent version of Pando to work for some time. Two emails to the developers have gone unanswered. I can get very small (~250 kB) files to upload, but nothing big (but still within the "free" range). Even that small file would not download for me when I sent it to another address that reflected it to me. I don't know what the problem is with Pando; it used to be great. I use 10.4.8 on an early intel iMac. Suggest you use "yousendit.com" instead or MailChute if you have Earthlink or a .Mac account, although Earthlink limits your files to 10 MB. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 7.0.0 (Mac OS X)
I can't get Adobe Reader 7.0.0 to print out more than one page of a document, regardless of what my settings are. I am using an Epson 820 printer. [alert admin]

Easy Card 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Using OS 10.3.1 I still can't get the insides of the single fold card to print. This version is supposed to have cured that problem. Have to create two cards to do the trick. Emailed company - no reply received to date. Nice program otherwise. [alert admin]

Page Sender 3.1 (Mac OS X)
This is a very worthwhile upgrade; the most significant feature being the ability to manually send a fax, i.e. after dialing the number by hand, listening to whomever answers the phone, and clicking SEND when instructed by them. I asked for this feature a little over a year ago and the author agreed it was a worthwhile option, which he would consider for a later version. [alert admin]
