DockRestore 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)

doesn't do what it claims

HierarchicalDock really does give back true 10.4 functionality... hierarchical popup menu AND it will display your own folder icons... not the icons of content items. It's not quite as good as 10.4. It has a clumsy way to solving the problem, but it's good enough. Now i can switch to 10.5... after some software updates i'm awaiting for. [alert admin]

Leopaque 2.0.2 (Mac OS X)

this trashed my system

It made the menu bar opaque... but it also made the dock go away and screwed up selection of desktop pictures from the Desktop & Screen Saver Pref Pane and the system won't restart unless I force it. Luckily I'm just testing 10.5 on an ext. FW drive. I'm back in 10.4.11 on my 2.4 GHz MBP now and probably will have to reinstall leopard... no big deal for me... but you should be very careful of this. [alert admin]
