Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge 3.0b7 (Mac OS X)
This is the first time i've played this under OSX and wow i'm blown away by this in two ways. First the positive way - THANK YOU!! Because I can still play your great conversion with my new G5!!! Buuuuut where is the mouse support? I hear this was impossible the last time it was discussed? Or maybe that was the tweaking or configuring of the mouse support??? I can't remember, but it's impossible for me to play with the mouse when i cannot do a simple invert - so i'm stuck with the kbrd from now on. Oh dear oh and it crashed on me once! But i assume this is an aleph one error, so i'll grab the latest build asap EMR-X is fantastic all the same + good progress made. Sweet [alert admin]

Unreal Tournament 2004 3229 (Mac OS X)
have u tried lowering the no. of sound channels? (i've mine @ 16) or changing the CacheSizeMegs?? (I have mine increased to 128mb.) Texture Quality settings make a big difference. My G5 only comes with the 64mb (tiny vram!) ATI 9600. So cos i've only got this low amount of vram for such modern games, like UT2004, i lower the text quality to LOW or NORMAL. (i keep the main one @ LOW, and the character ones @ NORMAL. The World and physics i have set to HIGH. It's not really a G5 problem, it's the gfx card... and it's not cos it's a slow gfx card, it's due to the lacking vram. All imho, of course! ;) However, the sound has a major hit also - simply cos PCs come with sound cards and macs don't.. so turn off any music and also lower the no. of sound channels... (The UT2004.ini file is inside your application support folder) I've just been playing the artic level of Fraghouse's Invasion. And i get anywhere between 30/40fps too over 100fps. Depends! ;) All other mods/levels/gametypes, like Shattered Oasis, FragOps, Atlantis, Jungle Warfare, Red Orchestra. Domain 2049, and a ton more all play VERY smooth and fast. I'm happy :) HTH :-? so does reliability and security mean nothing to you? KDX supports encryption in it's file transfers - does carrafix? erm no...
There are many different appearances for KDX too... Did u check these out? I doubt it! Sorry it doesn't look pretty for you! LOL
i've run my own FTP and Hotline servers, and then tested out a Carracho server for a few weeks. We decided against it as KDX proved so much better and a lot…
