Apple Safari 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)

upgrade for Tiger too, or just Leopard?

I currently have Safari 3.1 on OS 10.4.11 - and Safari crashes A LOT (especially when i try to quit - it freezes, then crashes). Is this Safari upgrade recommended if you are still running Tiger, as I am, or is it more aimed towards Leopard users? Anyone have some experience with this they can share? [alert admin]
