DiskWarrior 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Updater doesn't work

For me, the updater gets to the last step (burning), then quits with the message "The media is not the right type for the requested operation". I'm using high-quality CD-Rs. [alert admin]

DiskWarrior X 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)

CD Update 3.0.1 caution

The CD updater is a little flaky. It apparently requires a 650MB CD-R; a 700MB CD-R would not work for me. Even with the 650MB CD-R, it flashed a message that the media was not writable--then burned successfully. [alert admin]

Won't run on MacPro with 10.5.1

The same hang happened to me yesterday on a PowerBook G4, but it installed correctly today (Jan. 7) on a Mac Pro. Perhaps the problem was fixed.

CD Update Error . . .

I finally got a usable burn using a 650 MB CD-R. A 700 MB CD-R would not work for me (3 tries).

Found the problem

I tried the updater using a 650 MB CD-R (I had tried using a 700 MB CD-R), and got a usable updated DiskWarrior CD. I did get an error message about bad media at the start of the burn, but it burned anyway.
