Eudora Mailbox Cleaner 4.9 (Mac OS X)

Better organization of the directions will improve the product

I read the directions more than once. If they could be organized better, they might be easier to understand. Since this is a "get it right the first time" process, a clearer layout of the steps will help a user to feel more confident before committing himself. [alert admin]

Eudora Mailbox Cleaner 4.9 (Mac OS X)

PC Eudora 7 to OS X Mail -- flawless migration

With a little careful reading of the instructions, and even as a newbie Mac user, EMC imported some 7 years' (230 mailboxes) of mail from PC Eudora to OS X Apple Mail. The two scripts included in the package automated rebuilding of the imported mailboxes and edited and activated imported filters. This program is the only one I've seen that does the whole job with very little effort on your part. And I've looked. Congratulations to Aamann on a superb program. I'll send him a donation. WARNING !

Unfortunately, you didn't see that this update is intended for 10.5.8 and above. I did spot it, and upgraded from 10.5.7. Installed the Java update, which not only went fine, but speeded up my main Java app, Deltopia's DeltaWalker. Sorry you had trouble.

Alternative perfect freeware application ...

Each has a few features that the other doesn't. Looks like a good alternative if you compare them and decide the shareware app meets your needs. I like that the developer of the shareware app is responsive to adding features. The current request is a good idea. (See the feedback.)

Quibble: patch 0 still displays after downloading patch 1

Please ignore this comment. I'm unfamiliar with applying patches. When I did apply the patch correctly, the patch number did properly appear.
