Library Books 2.2 (Mac OS X)
Please note that some bugs in version 2.2 which have been fixed for the next version: Library Books will initially display dialogue asking you to enter in your library login details. There is a bug that only allows you one minute to enter in the data. It is okay if you are using a preset but may cause problems if you are using a generic library. To work around this problem: 1. Pick any library, enter in a random user id and add it in. It will stop the one minute limit. 2. Click the "+" button to add in your library. 3. Remove the dummy library you added. The preset for Multnomah County Library does not work. You can work around this by using a generic Dynix catalogue and entering in: - Catalogue URL: http://ipac.multcolib.org - Web page: http://www.multcolib.org [alert admin]

Yep, it really doesn't work - but I've fixed it
Thanks WiFiRules. There was a silly bug in the code that has fixed. The new version (1.1) should be available shortly for download. [alert admin]

Library Books 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Determining if you can use it with your library
I wrote this app for my local library, which uses a catalogue system made by Sirsi. I've noticed a few libraries that use this system around the world. Library Books may work with these other libraries. To identify if your library uses a Sirsi system check:
1. The URL should look like http://catalogue.yprl.vic.gov.au/uhtbin/webcat. Note the /uhtbin/webcat at the end.
2. It normally says "Powered by: Sirsi Corporation, Copyright..." at the bottom of the page. [alert admin]

Library Books is a status bar application and doesn't have a dock icon. You should see a star in your status/menu bar. If your library uses a Sirsi catalogue system, open up Library Book's preferences and click on the advanced tab. Enter in the address of your library's URL there. [alert admin]

EyeTV 1.6.1 (Mac OS X)
I'm experiencing the same power saving problem
Yep, I've got the same problem. If you run top you'll notice that EyeTV is running at just below 10% and I'm guessing that this stops the Mac from going to sleep. [alert admin]

EyeTV 1.3.5 (Mac OS X)
I've also found that the update doesn't pick up some channels. The old version does so use it to do auto-tune. Run 1.3.5 and you'll have access to the missing channels. [alert admin]

If you've got time can you let me know what settings you used for those libraries. I'll like to add them in as presets so other people can use them. (You can find my email address on my web page http://haroldchu.id.au/?page_id=11) --Harold
