Boinx PhotoPresenter 3.4 (Mac OS X)
Aperture libraries do not work at all. Demo seemed to work but no possibility to use any aperture library with the paid version of the software. Their support claimed they were working on a fix (have said this since november 6 or so) and today said they have more important things to fix before getting to fix this... I certainly cannot recommend this. [alert admin]

VueScan 8.4.52 (Mac OS X)
I have used VueScan now for several years. Lately started to scan a lot of slides in, works steady as can be with my CanoScan fs4000. [alert admin]

Well, it seems there might still be some problems. Gave "Unexpected Error" on install. Previous versions managed to make my Mac Pro (really) crawl. Would love to see this work. [alert admin]

Data Rescue 10.4.3 (Mac OS X)
80gb disk. Started scanning (content scan) on Sunday on a g4 1.25ghz with 768mb memory. Was ready 1800 hours on Thursday (4 days later) and said some files were found. After clicking ok to see the files: crashes. --h [alert admin]

Comic Life 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Hmmm. This does not crash for me on any of the combinations mentioned by the previous reviewer. Has not crashed at all. This is quite cool and works nicely and fast even with a large iPhoto library. There was a problem in printing scaled pictures (it printed them on one corner) but this was fixed within 8 hours of reporting it. Prints nicely. Works well for me (10.3.8 with g5). Worked so well I bought it. --h [alert admin]

Flow 1.5(EA4) (Mac OS X)
This seems really useful. The support team is very responsive to suggestions and feedback comments on this early access version. I have been looking for a way to switch my work OneNote stuff to a Mac program and all the ones I have used (even the excellent Notebook and DevonThink seem lacking in this area). This seems to be the best alternative currently on Mac to compete with Microsoft OneNote in Windows side. Of course this does quite a bit more than any of those. Some rough edges on how flags are handled but seems to be on track. [alert admin]

Readerware 2.91 (Mac OS X)
Have used this for ages (over three years?) for my IT book collection. It just works. I would like to have nicer report generation interface. This is extensible and solid stuff. --h [alert admin]
