SideTrash 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried Side Trash on two separate systems, both running very cleaning, all maintainenece done regularly and Side Trash does not work on either one? I am sure it is on my end judging from all the positive feedback, but I am not sure what to try. I put a copy on my desktop and in my sidebar, but when I drag items to the icon, nothing happens. Well, really what happened is that it worked on both systems the first time!, then that was it. Any thoughts appreciated, Henry [alert admin]

Canon PowerShot ImageBrowser 3.6 (Mac OS X)
Friend cannot get his images into iPhoto?
I friend has installed both Canon ImageBrowser and iPhoto 5. when he connects his camera iPhoto boots up and the camera is seen in the import window. When he tries to import there is an error that the iPhoto cannot open folder...with a path to a non-existent canon image browser folder. The import stops there and then there is a dialog box that says in could not import the files due to corruption. I imported the images onto my computer, they are fine. I copied them to t CD and tried to import them that way into iPhoto on his computer, same problem. I ran GraphicConverter and converted the images to another format, again they are fine on my computer, but he keeps getting the same error messages. Anyone ever heard of this? Any thoughts on what to do? TIA henry [alert admin]

Roxio Popcorn 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I have been using Popcorn to make backup DVD for my three year old and have been very pleased. One small glitch is that almost every disk has some minor skipping about 3/4 the way through and it continues to the end. No matter what the size of the disk is, 2 gigs, 2.5 gigs. 4 gigs? Just little skips that certainly go by un noticed by my kid. But I would love to figure out if I can do anything to stop this issue. Is it some kind of buffer underrun burn rate issue? I have my first bug in a long time and it is from one of the following: Saft URL Manager Pro It started after installing the most recent URLMP (3.4.1), Does not load into safari, If I try to load URLMP, Safari unexpectedly quits. I have used the "main feature only" extraction in Popcorn once with complete success. IMHO i am surprised at how consistent Popcorn has been since I started using it. I think I made one coaster out of about 10 copies. Pretty good considering I have had zero success in trying to make copies in any other manner. 2cents h [alert admin]

After MacTheRipper and Popcorn can I just copy DVD?
I use MacTheRipper and Popcorn to make backup copies of my three year olds DVD's. It works and after buying multiple copies of certain Sesame Street DVD's I am really happy to have it. Once I make a copy of the DVD that is D-MAC and RCE is set properly and whatever else MacTheRipper does, can I then make a copy of the DVD directly say using Toast for the third time I need a replacement? In other words after I make a copy and give the original to my son and then he eventually destroys that original, before I give him ethe copied one, can I make another copy in some easier manner than re-ripping? I never had any luck using Toast to make a copy of a DVD, but before I try again I though I would try and get some feedback. Thanks, henry [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 4.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I was hesitent to start using this software as I have all but given up using my Palm T-C for many reasons. The great news is that is works as advertised (for me) Installation was a bit tricky and involved some communication with support. Once installed properly it worked perfectly first time, syncing better than any other setup I have used between Mac and Palm. Splash Photo finally makes transferring images to my Palm straight forward and most of all I really like being able to mount and get at my SDD card. with that said I agree wholeheartedly with the person who asys that the company keeps its users at a very long arms reach. Just a few monutes ago I went to their website to try and find some user forums or a tech support email and I gave up. they keep that stuff very well hidden. If you can take advantage of a competivie cross upgraded or a bundle with Documents to Go I say go for it. But remember, it ain't perfect. H [alert admin]

Interarchy 7.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I have been trying to DL the 7.1.1 for three days. I get partial downloads a snails pace. Pretty funny considering the product. I love Interarchy, have been a registered user since Anarchy 3 or 4. Sync Entourage-Address Book (Jaguar) 1.2.11 (Mac OS X)
These scripts have helped me a great deal and the creator Paul Berkowitz has been very helpful in support for any issues I have had. With that said I am reciveing this code no matter what I do in Panther. Can't cotinue <<event ????az15>> So, I tried using the importation script from within Address Book "script menu->import address-> Entourage and had very positive results. I have over 1000 contacts and they all imported with correct formatting. Until an update to Sync Entourage appears as I am sure it will any day, maybe this is a safe alternative to get your address book rolling into an iApp and away from Office Suite FOREVER!!!
