Backdrop 1.3 (Mac OS X)
Just a few uses from feedback I've gotten the past few months... For screenshots, Backdrop is most useful for taking full-screen snapshots where you might want a generic background. Some users leave Backdrop open all the time to allow them to focus on only one application (or a few chosen windows) at a time. [alert admin]

I recommend it if you need a no-frills spreadsheet for some quick calculations. But be aware... it did crash on me when inserting rows... :-\ This is a great early version, though a touch sluggish on my G3... seemed like it was thinking a little too hard between handling the keypress on a clicked cell and switching to editor mode. Some things I'd like to see added to this program: * when a cell is selected, the first keystroke changes to "edit" mode. Instead, this keystroke should follow-thru to be the data entry... example: click on some cell, type 123 enter. the cell switches to the editor on (1) and then gets value 23. * graphs just float over the spreadsheet and cannot be manipulated.. I'd like to be able to move the graph around * "smart" paste. I have a simple formula in cell B2 which is (= A2 + B1). If I copy this formula and paste it into B3, I'd like to get (= A3 + B2) where the cell values update relative to the current cell. * graphing option to not treat the x-axis as data values, but instead as distinct values. So if I check this option and have an x-axis with 1,1,1,2,2,2 and y-axis 1,2,3,4,5,6 , I would see a straight line with six points on the x-axis. Currently this would graph as 2 points on the x-axis with a vertical line (1,1) to (1,3), then a straight line from (1,3) to (2,4), then a vertical line to (2,6). [alert admin]

TimeSlider 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Please download the refreshed 1.0.1 version. This is the first project I created in xCode and I missed some build settings. My apologies. [alert admin]

Creature 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
When you use a custom image, there is no "hotspot" as with the other skins. For a custom image, you must control-click (or right-click if you can) to get the menu. This is the next big feature on my list to allow hotspots with custom images... :-) [alert admin]

VersionTracker 6.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Developer Notes great (except a bug!!)
The developer notes are great. This is a wonderful way for it to clearly separate my comments and info from reviews, etc. BUT, I just put notes on both products and the count still shows "Developer Notes: 0". :-( Otherwise things are looking good... And I just got an error trying to submit this: SELECT count(*) as summaryCount from tmpProdSummary WHERE productVersionID = 102837, troubleshootingCount = troubleshootingCount + 1 WHERE productVersionID = 102837dbconnection Object ( [_link] => Resource id #35 [_db] => Feedback [errno] => 1064 [errmsg] => You have an error in your SQL syntax near ' troubleshootingCount = troubleshootingCount + 1 WHERE productVersionID = 102837' at line 1 ) [alert admin]

Creature 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Calling graphics people! Want to make a skin for Creature?
Send me images (preferably as TIFFs), I will turn your wonderful artwork into a skin plugin. Let me know whether you'd like it just for yourself, or if you'd be willing to share the skin with other users (to be included in a future release of Creature). Or, create some images of "frames" of animation, I can also animate your work. Lots of possibilities! Just drop me an email at my yahoo account (jmhtruman AT yahoo.com). [alert admin]

Cintos 3.2.0b2 (Mac OS X)
The betas are for Jaguar or later
The betas up to this point will only run properly on Jaguar or later. Fear not! The final version of Cintos 3.2 will indeed support earlier versions of Mac OS X. [alert admin]

You are right. I will post an update soon with details on how to read the spiral clock. I need to do screenshots to really make this clearer, but here's my rough attempt: I will call the straight lines from the center spokes. You will see one spoke for the current hour, and one for the next hour. The length of each spoke is relative to how close to that hour it is (in…

Dasboard widgets are for 10.4+
You are correct. My apologies if this was misleading. I did an unfortunately hasty google search for "Dashboard" and "OS X" and found an article talking about 10.3.8 and Dashboard... Looking again, the article had multiple sections and those two were unrelated. I'm updating the description so hopefully VersionTracker will pickup the change soon...
