Word Translator 4.9.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
a note about which languages you wish to have supported and I will do my best to address it or point you to a similiar product, i.e. JeDict is an excellent product that supports Japanese. [alert admin]

Valentina for REALbasic 1.9.6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
the C SDK for 3 years and do recommend it for speed and functionality. It an excellent tool that does save a lot of development time. The RB version is even simpler in use. The only drawback of anotherwise great product is lack of in-depth documentation and meaningful examples. [alert admin]

of playing with AtWork it seems a good application that does what it claims quite well at a fair price. [alert admin]

Nikon Scan X 3.1.3 (Mac OS X)
there is no technical issue that prevents Nikon for recognizing LS-2000 under X. One must therefore assume that they have chosen not to support it to try to force users to buy new hardware. Pathetic. [alert admin]

Nikon Scan X 3.1.3 (Mac OS X)
a new low in product support, not too long ago I bought what was then a top of the line LS-2000 trusting that this major player in the market would do it's best to ensure support for their products. How wrong they prove me, and how low do they reach to push their customers into hardware upgrades(I for one will never buy a Nikon product again). LS-2000 is apparantly not supported under X, I have invested in an excellent SCSI-FireWire adapter www.2ndwave.com and it works flawlessly with VueScan. How comes then that the imaging giant, Nikon can not implement the simplest of device communications to allow their own software to communicate with their own hardware!?!? It does not seem to be a problem for a one man shop like Hamrick Software so why is it beyond the means of Nikon? Low, low, low. [alert admin]

If the software is purchased through the application there is no waiting time for the key. Registering manually under most circumstances results in a key within hours.

Drag the folder WTX Dictionaries to you HOME directory - that is where the application looks for it. You can also just go to the Preferences and change the location to where you have installed the dictionaries!..... Fairly simple.

You are most likely running the Upgrade which looks for an older installation of Word Translator to update. For first time installations you should use the Demo installer as the Upgrade does not contain any dictionaries and thus will be of no use. Halldor
