Countdown Calendar 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I'm giving this one five stars because it means nobody has to ever come up with a countdown widget again!!! [alert admin]

Iraq War: US Wounded 1.1 (Mac OS X)
But this widget will do little more than cater to the people who cheer for every soldier wounded. It would be better to make a list of links in widget form to sources that have been proven to help injured soldiers than to post the number injured, if that is the true intent of this widget. Yahoo! Widget Engine 3.0.2 (Mac OS X)
"Fixed bug where TextArea.thumbColor causes an error on the Mac but not on Windows." It seems all Yahoo wants to support is Windows (takes obligatory jab at Yahoo Messenger) [alert admin]

Kitty Katz Screensaver 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I'm a cat person, so maybe I'm a bit biased. This one is a definite keeper even in free mode (the free cat looks so cute). I do wish it wasn't thirty MB in size, though, and hopefully future versions can be slimmed down. [alert admin]

RADMovieTimes 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I've been using this instead of Dashboard Movies because it actually works! I punched in my ZIP and movies sprouted up. [alert admin]

Drop2DV 1.0c (Mac OS X)
This is a great program. I ripped a DVD using MacTheRipper and then converted the files. It was ridiculously easy, but I do with I could do it from an "open" menu item instead of quitting the application and then dropping another file onto it. The files themselves are of great quality, even if the program can't do certain frames. I say that because after this, I used iMovie and converted the entire project to QuickTime. I'm satisfied with the final results (all 500 MB per QT movie of it) and I would recommend using iMovie or similar software afterward (as DV files can get REALLY BIG). I had one small problem with the program in that it doesn't do all of my DVD files. I'd test each file out before converting an entire DVD in order to save yourself some heartache. For the price and convenience, though, I'd still recommend the program! [alert admin]
