Submerge 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Excellent utility

I've been using Submerge extensively to include subtitles in more that a hundred media files and it's an excellent product. It's very well done and produces merged video, sound and subtitle tracks for clean and easy to manage .mov files. It's also quite affordable. Actually, at that price, it's a steal. Highly recommended. [alert admin]

Typinator 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Great utility

Over the years, I have used many different text expansion utilities, starting with TypeIt4Me under Mac OS 7. Typinator 2 is, along with TypeIt4Me, the best program I've used for that purpose. Right now, it has even replaced TypeIt4Me on my Mac, as I find it a bit more reliable. As part of the Macitility Productivity Bundle, the price of this utility is also quite reasonable. KeyCue 3.0 (Mac OS X)

Useful utility

I got KeyCue as part of the Macitility Productivity Bundle. While I probably wouldn't have bought it as a standalone utility, it's a very useful program, well implemented and elegantly done. [alert admin]

PopChar X 3.2 (Mac OS X)

Wonderful utility

The program I've developed to transcode older Greek fonts into Unicode would have been a nightmare to code without the help of this wonderful utility. It's a great time-saver, the UI is very well done and it offers many powerful features for people who need quick access to codepoints. You should also try out the other products in the Macility Productivity Bundle, KeyCue and Typinator, which are both great utilities. [alert admin]

corrupt archive

It seem the Mac OS X-provided Zip/unZip utility has a problem when trying to decompress the .zip enveloppe around the .sitx archive, even though it was created using the Finder. Use StuffitExpander instead to decompress. That should work.
