Math Wizard Pro 0.7.51 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Very nice program, neatly packaged. I downloaded this for my daughter to practice her multiplication tables. I do have issues with the random number generation: I'm finding (X * 1) and (X * 0) show up a little too frequently, and I never see the integer multiplied by itself, i.e., 2*2, 4*4 etc. REALLY like the timer option. With a little tweaking this program will be perfect. [alert admin]

Decent program, but here's my critique. I'm still on OS 9 at the office and OS X at home, so I was looking forward to the ability to update files created at either end. I created a project at home on OS X, dropped the file on my usb key and loaded it on the office Mac. OS 9 had no idea what kind of file this was. I even tried File Open from Project Planner but it just wouldn't give me the option to open this file, which just shows up as a generic "document". I can't find any documentation for a file extension, so I would have to remake the file at the office. Also not happy with the print-outs. [alert admin]

Kudos to the ZipIt team! This works beautifully! Downloaded, dragged the conduit to the Palm conduit folder in the library, pressed the hotsync (I use a Clie with Missing Sync) and I can continue to have free access AvantGo that I lost with my upgrade to OS X. The only downside is AvantGo benefitting from the work of these fine while continuing to AVOID supporting OS X. Blowing a big raspberry in their general direction. [alert admin]

First of all, I have to wonder why a site is trying to make so many connections...which is the point of Little Snitch...turns out there is a lot going on in the background. Have you really explored the program? You can choose to allow ANY/ALL connections either until you quit, or forever. Your choice.
