Ticker 3.1 (Mac OS X)
The 3.1 version crashes on my machine too. But I stupedly downloaded and replaced without keeping the old version. Any tips on finding it - or could someone send it to me ? [alert admin]

MaxMenus 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Great product but nowhere can I find the cost of an upgrade.
Anyone know if this is a free upgrade or if you can only pay the full price ? [alert admin]

Sequence Analysis 1.5.9 (Mac OS X)
Simple to use even though relatively comprehensive, and fast too. It would be nice if there was a way of saving sequences on quitting the app. [alert admin]

to counter the three below; I think it is a four and a half. Lightening fast , slick and beautiful - all thanks to the developers. Unfortunately a few sites that render properly in 8.4 no longer do so so a little work stll required to make this the perfect browser. Meantime 8.4 still remains the best default. But this is very promising. [alert admin]

Degrees Down Under 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Either would be nicer than the current options of dock or screen. But a nice functional app, thank you. [alert admin]

1%: I wish I could view a calendar or open iCal by clicking on the pull-down's date. Try MiCal

I agree with you completely on the point about the window opening below the dock and gave up Firefox and Mozilla because of it (Opera does the same and I suspect it is a PC compatible feature). I posted the same comment as you and received a comment that windows should not slide under the dock but should be positioned below it. I wonder where this respondent got this information and why they didn't bother…

Pleasure ; I discovered it by mistake when I was trying to reverse the order into alphabetical. But I think the guy deserves a few stars for this. Cheers.

Smart ass. Not even funny, but a little annoying to see such childish comments on a site meant for real comments and reviews.

You are trying not to be greedy. I agree. But some organization is.

My favorite, Camino, has similar printing problems. The text comes out too small. And Safari is hopeless. But you can avoid using MS IE with Opera which seems to blend perfectly with the printer.

Thanks for that. But I got a further message to remove previous cookies for that site and that worked .

Well maybe you are technically correct, I don't know; but even Safari doesn't do this. Also, when a further page is opened this is positioned even further down so that the scroll arrows are hidden. Safari used to do this too but this was changed (? corrected) several updates ago.
