Starry Night 6.2.3 (Mac OS X)
CELESTIA. it does everything that this does -maybe more-it lets you travel from planet also, as if you were in a spaceship, seemless and realistic, V 1.5 just rolled off the presses last month its not on VT yet. Oh, I almost forgot-its free. Give it a whirl, at least www*shatters*net/celestia/index.html [alert admin]

Monolingual 1.3.8 (Mac OS X)
I use a terminal app called Trim-app. You install the .exe file in usr/bin then type: $trim-app -a i386 (return) This gets rid of ALL binary except Intel $trim-app -a PPC (return) gets rid of all the i386 code ML used to cause problems apps would not work properly and the console would say, (after using ML) "x/x/x2 not found. DID find x/x/x2 Mach-O but wrong architecture" Using trim app Ive had no problems. Plus ML still leaves from a few to many dozens of lproj files behind-you can find and remove them using an app called Easyfind-I dont use Spotlight, ever-but that kind of defeats the purpose of ML... after 2 "broke the speed limit" error notices I wont rewrite my thesis again Just find and us an Open Source tool called: Trim-app easy to use: put .exe file in usr/bin then just type: $trim-app -a i386 leaves ALL Intel binary parts untouched $trim-app -a PPC leaves ALL the PPC binary parts untouched works like a charm-when ML stumbled- Cleaning binaries certain apps would stop working- with a message in the console: "unable to find x/x/x/x1 DID find x/x/x/x1 Mach-O but wrong architecture" Also ML can and does leave behind dozens of lproj files. Use Easyfind to see what im talking about [alert admin]

ClamXav 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
not to negate this finely crafted product, but I ask- has anyone EVER had any virus or spyware/hacking/trojan etc in the past 10 years on their PPC? I remember way back when I was a young 'un there was ONE. Not even sure it was real-wasnt that computer savvy at the time. Even more important-has anyone with an Intel Mac been virused, trojaned or spied on through the WINDOWS partition? or even gotten a Blue screen of death? Not even greasy finger smudges on their screen? No? Just wondering-I would think we'd have heard of an XP problem by now on an Intel Mac if it were possible to create one. What a selling point if Intel macs were found to be unpenatrible-im not talking proof of concept but real world stuff. [alert admin]

Flip4Mac WMV 2.2.0.49 (Mac OS X)
which is better-F4M or VLC ? VLC seems to do MUCH more, and doesnt have all these silly upgrade charges (its free) however it gobbles up 35mb of space! On the other hand this new version of F4M is probably the same skeleton of an app we will ever see, with just minor bug fixes in the future. They both have the same ratings [alert admin]

US Constitution & Government Quizzer 9.2 (Mac OS X)
Good to save then memorize....too pass on to future generations...
because Bush and his gang of NeoCon thugs want to tear up our Constitution and stomp on it with polished, black Jack-Boots. Habeus Corpus The Bill of Rights right to speedy Trial by Jury protection from torture Miranda Warning The very Constitution of the United states is under attack by these Nazis One World Dictatorship is their goal. Stand UP the day could come where one could be 'disappeared' for writing things such this-it would be looked upon as ones being a dues-paying card carrying member of Al Queda. -or encouraging 'terrorism' I KID YOU NOT. Read all of the so-called 'Patriot Act' Look up SB 1955, just passed, that can have you locked up for even criticizing the Government-or reading things they consider 'dangerous' or "encouraging domestic terrorism" Why do you think they tried to force the nations Public Libraries, and AMAZON.com to turn over lists of books bought/checked out by customers? Luckily justice won-for the time being-they wont stop trying to undermine our way of life under the guise of 'fighting terror'-that was Big Brother's schtick in the book <1984>... READ THE BOOK-then RE READ IT-you will see their blueprint...and their tricks The Dems have no spines So RP is the way to go... [alert admin]

to the fool calling paranoia-read up before you call names 1. MY SPACE is now owned by Rupert Murdoch (FOX NEWS) who has given the FBI and NSA FULL permission to look at your tracks and habits. AMAZON.com just won a lawsuit against the NSA, which was demanding they give out the titles of ALL books sold, and who bought them. 2. Librarians said "No!" en masse when the NSA demanded they keep the titles of books and…

Demo-ing a 100mb .dmg file is not going to show me how much faster my HD will run after using product...since my HD is 180GigaBytes I dunno- other companies seem to make it work if it self-destructs after one full defrag, it will be useless. If the product is ACTUALLY as necessary for the most efficient and speedy use of HD space, as claimed, then the Demo buyers HD will soon need a new defrag-and when…
