Why are you bashing Mac "blueskymining"?
It seems "Blueskymining" that before you come here you need to get your facts straight. There is virtually NO threats to the Mac and yes unfortunately when we get emails from a windoze machine that has a virus or whatever we can pass that on. So it is up to you the windoze user to take care of your machine, and stop going on a tirade because you did not protect your self or because your just wanting to be a BEEP. [alert admin]

Cocktail 4.1.5 (Mac OS X)
The App & the support from the Dev's is great 
After I contacted the support team because of the registration numbers/letters issue they sent me a link. And now Coctail runs great in 10.5.4. Great app great support you can't ask for more. [alert admin]

Cocktail 4.1.5 (Mac OS X)
I upgraded to OS X 10.5.4 and then downloaded the 4.1.5 version of the •••••tail and now it no longer works version 3.7.5 worked fine in 10.4.11. Now my registration number is no longer excepted. I have tried to contact the dev's to no avail. I hope they get this fixed because it is a very nice clean app. [alert admin]

NeoOffice 2.2.3 patch 4 (Mac OS X)
Follow up on This App is great but...
I should have stated that most of my clients use windows and they can not open any of the .doc or .docx files that NeoOffice produces. Any ideas?? gdgp Well this app seems so solid in all ways. I was hoping it was my release from M$ but my clients can not open any of the documents that neo produces. If anyone has any ideas of how they can do this that would be great info for all of us. Well this app seems so solid in all ways. I was hoping it was my release from M$ but my clients can not open any of the documents that neo produces. If anyone has any ideas of how they can do this that would be great info for all of us. Well I guess it is back to (UGH!) M$. [alert admin]

Hi all, I have not installed this because it has to have a Root access to install. I have been looking for a program like this and it seems to get very good reviews, but why does it need Root access. Why would an office program need to install in the Root of the sys? Any help in understanding would be great. [alert admin]

Thanks all for the comments. I found out that I was the problem when saving. I now know that when I need to "save as" a .doc file in the save window I need to select yes and not the default no. I am free from the burden of M$ office :-)

No there is no mandatory donation but this is such great software any $ to the dev's to keep up with there time would be great. I have not done so yet but plan to in the morning.

What format are you saving to in NeoOffice? Because I have tried all formats and they ether do not open or the layout completely changes in word making it unreadable. I would really like to find another program to use other than appleworks 6.2.9 which is very old.

Yes, I to have had this problem to the point that I have quit using Safari. As much as I did not want to the crashing and also it could not interrupt a lot of stuff from different sites, like on yahoo mail and all the forums that I belong to had posting options that Safari never saw.
