Gordon Flash Decompiler 1.6.4 (Mac OS X)
The resulting .FLA crashes Flash 8
I have just purchased Gordon and did the following test: 1) Created a simple 2 slides Keynote presentation and exported it to swf. 2) Opened the sfw file in Gordon and saved it to .fla 3) The resulting .fla file consistently crashes my Flash 8 Pro. Have anyone used Gordon with Keynote presentations? [alert admin]

This is a must have for web development. It is so much faster than using w3.org validator! [alert admin]

iDefrag 1.2.1 (Mac OS X)
I booted my eMac in Firewire target mode and connected it to my powerbook ran a full defrag overnight without problems. My VirtualPC drive file was fragmented in about 18000 fragments! No crashes here. [alert admin]

KidsBrowser 3.3 (Mac OS X)
I have two daugthers (5 and 3 years old). They love it. I just expanded the favorites with some additional sites. I also created a printer setting for color draft so that they can print their coloring pages at will. I hope the developers fix the problems that the adults have found. I have not been affected. CyTV 0.4 (Mac OS X)
I can see live TV perfectly, but I can not see any of my recorded programs. I suspect that this is because I have my EyeTV library on my external drive instead of the regular location. [alert admin]

HP PSC 2500 series 6.3.4 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I installed it on my PowerBook G4 without problems. For some reason I get the following error when I try to install into my eMac: "This installation requires a System Folder on the destination drive. The installation has been cancelled. 1008:1,-43 File not found" Is anybody else having this problem? [alert admin]

When I type for example an á, it should be translated as an á in the HTML code. Otherwise it is a great & simple App. [alert admin]

Not only you will write the stylesheets much faster, but you will know which browsers may have problems with the features you include in it. I think it is worth its price. And I'm not just buying any software I see. I try to use open source tools as much as possible. I use StyleMater together with XEmacs for my web sites development. [alert admin]

VueScan 7.6.41 (Mac OS X)
I am scanning a negative which says "KODAK CG 400-8" on its side. In VueScan I select: Negative Vendor = KODAK Negative Brand = GOLD For the "Negative type" these are the ASA 400 options: 400 Gen 1, 400 Gen 2, 400 Gen 3, 400 Gen 5, 400 Gen 6, III 400 Gen 5, Ultra 400 Gen 4, and Ultra 400 Gen 5. Which one should I choose? Also, If I fix the exposure and film base color using the procedure described in the manual, do I still have to set the Vendor, type and brand? Regards, Gustavo Delfino Caracas, Venezuela [alert admin]

For an alternative try Ghostscript
I was joining 3000 pdf files and joinPDF gave me a java out of memory error. With gs I was able to do the job. Thanks for the hint.
