KisMAC 0.04c (Mac OS X)
trouble with the download and finish up with a file called, 'download.pl', then just rename it 'download.img' and all will be well. :-) [alert admin]

Connectix Virtual PC 6.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
with all these software companies that rip us off. I upgraded in Sep. from v4 to v5 and now I'm told to get v6 they want another $US99.00, yet if I had remained at v4 or v3, it would have only cost the same upgrade price. Filemaker (Apple) is just as guilty, you can have any old version and upgrade to the latest version for the same price as someone who has a later version and paid for all the upgrades, what crap! WeatherPop Advance 1.6.2 (Mac OS X)
frustrated with the lack of accuracy. I'm in Australia and this software did work correctly for some time until they changed the data source. NOW it is so inaccurate I can't rely on it. DockTemp X (a free utility) if far more accurate, at least in Australia, why don't they use it's source? [alert admin]

shadowIP 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
reason this software is worth paying for is for what you get over the 'free' stuff. 1. It is Dynamic, unlike 'Dock IP'. (For beginners, this means that it will update itself automatically when you change locations and your ip address. 2. You can customise it for different interfaces. This is great if you have an Airport or Router and have multiple active interfaces which can be renamed and displayed in realtime. 3. It can float on the desktop, the dock can be painful, enough said. 4. It has great support, worth every bit of $7.50 [alert admin]

StuffIt Deluxe 7.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Aladdin has lost my custom. I recently upgraded multiple licences for OSX and then it broke in Jaguar and for the fix I need to spend more money. They can get stuffed!! [alert admin]

Who's There? X 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
greedy company. I bought it for OS 9 then I upgraded to OS X they wanted $39.00 for an update to work with OS X with no extra features So I purchased Norton's Internet Security which bundles Who's There (v.1.1.2) but you can't update it to version 1.2 without paying another $29.00. Outrageous! I will never deal with this company again. [alert admin]
