DiskLibrary 0.2b (Mac OS X)

Looks interesting

Finally a nice catalog app. Hope the future interface looks more like iPhoto and iTunes. Some hopes: 1. A smaller font size for catalog items (like iTunes) 2. A flat list with metadata and folder/catalog as a column. customizable columns for each smart catalog 3. combine metadata and item info (more useful for music files but maybe others too) 4. more metadata for music like bit rate, kind (aac, mp3, apple lossless), track number, disc number, genre, comment, … 5. option to show remote volumes above catalogs on left with quick button to import 6. a global catalog that shows all items from all catalogs 7. option-click smart catalog to edit (like in iTunes 7) 8. searching smart catalogs. a search now reverts back to searching the library looks promising!! Countabout 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Amazing widget

Love it. I've been wanting a simple app to keep track of activities like weight, exercise, study, work, or anything. All I wanted was some way to easily graph it. This is it. All the other apps for monitoring activities are too complicated and cumbersome. [alert admin]

Saft 8.3.4 (Mac OS X)

Getting Saft to load quicker

Any tips to get Saft to load faster? On a MBP, Saft makes new windows have a appearance delay of maybe less than .1 seconds. :) It's noticable and I hope that I can minimize the initalization Saft does when a new Safari window appears. Any tips? [alert admin]

Looks interesting

one more thing :) I think it'd be nicer if catalogs and smart catalogs weren't separated. And smart catalogs might be easier to use if they're listed above catalogs. With hundreds of catalogs, smart ones are quicker to find at the top.

Looks interesting

one more thing :) adding notes/comments to items (and batch editing them) also forgot to mention the important composer field for music

Again lost data

Thanks to help from the developer, I was able to get back my data. It is stored and backed up; just wasn't sure how to get to it. There seem to be minor issues with opening up the widget--there's a slight delay before it asks you to restore the last data set. Wish it would just open up with a default or let you choose a set if you had multiple widgets open. I'm sure…

love it but it's slow

Hi Hao Li, thank you very much for the offer. I tried changing Saft preferences, disabling everything except type-ahead support. I was only using default ad-blockers and shortcuts; I tried removing those. Safari works great. It's still very very fast. It just seems Saft delays the appearance of new windows by something like almost half a second. :) I understand. It changes the menus and modifies lots of things. When I get something faster than my old…
