of not being useful for OS X comments (isn't there a small utility by the file buddy author for that purpose?), I find it very convenient. If ever I lost my comments somehow, I could restore them, so this is a fine way of backing them up. I never tried restoring comments after moving the source to a different volume, tho. [alert admin]
