4G iPodLinux Installer 0.4 (Mac OS X)

Hey just so you know, I used .2 and .3 with a windows filesystem(fat32 I guess, if that's what XP uses) via my osx laptop and I had exactly NO issues, so why is the installer now being limited to just hfs format? when it has a fat32 format I can have it mount easily on all OS's without problem as an external HD. [alert admin]
