iPod Music Liberator 4.6 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

Why are there programs like this for Windows? I don't know about Macs, but on my copmuter you can just go into the ipod in My Computer and there are all my songs waiting to be copied wherever I want — full titles and artists and everything. For those who don't know, go Ipod > iPod_Control > Music > Then a load of numbered folders all starting with F. I suppose that the music is ordered in alphabetical order with this program but you can always find whatever you want with the search tool. Why pay money? Does anyone know if I'm missing something here? [alert admin]
