This software is somewhat helpful if you to lazy to log in to PayPal and for $10 it might be worth while but $25 for something you can as easy achieve by logging in to PayPal is a bit of a joke. You unfortunately also can't really use it to reconcile the paypal account as it takes not in to account the statements. $10 yes $25 no way [alert admin]

RapidWeaver 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Just downloaded version 4 and tried to upload my web page but decided to cancel while RW was preparing the site for upload. RW now hangs on the cancel window for over 5 minutes and nothing happens. Had similar problems with RW4 beta but thought this would be fixed. Force quite application and restarted and tried to upload but RW hangs on one picture and does not progress. Same site uploads fine in RW 3x. Reported this bug in beta so quite strange that final version is released with bug still present. [alert admin]

Used to use PF all the time but unfortunately it does not support bonjour shared disk which do not automatically show up on left hand site and that makes it somewhat useless for me. It needs to be at least on par with the finder but in this regards it's lacking behind [alert admin]

I have to agree, very confusing software ![]()

I bought this software to track hours spend on one customer but have to say it's quite difficult to use. I can't find a way to put a meaningful description in item/service field as the field is only tiny. There is no way to open the actual invoice and enter a full description of the services. Would happy switch to something better [alert admin]

I just installed Fork lift 1.5 and tried my MacPromo Serial number which I purchased in December and voila it works. It's great to see developer who do not try to rip their customers of and releases version on MacPromo whci need further money to pay for the next update which is imminent. The application itself I great 2 though haven't tried the FTP feature yet. [alert admin]

Intego Personal Antispam X5 10.5.1 (Mac OS X)
Use SpamSieve more effective, cheaper, better support, no crazy update fees. Actually I trashed all by bought Intego products a while ago as it's far to expensive to keep them current and there are better tools out there for each of their products. [alert admin]

Transmit 3.6.4 (Mac OS X)
I'm using Transmit for many years but recently change to CyberDuck because of the following: When FTP copying large directories with many files (12MB) Transmit often does not copy all files because of permission problems (the same files copy perfectly well with other FTP clients) Transmit then stops the whole transfer process and not just skips the files it can't copy so you have to baby-sit the whole transfer which is also reasonably slow. If you "replace" files with Transmit it does not make the files the same permission as the replaced files which means a lot of manual work afterwards. When you choose the replace option Transmit will actually first delete all files in the particular folder and then write the new files, this is not a replace but a delete first and i lost my config files from my shopping cart because of this. The Sync option also does not work for me because of permission problems (again this files are transfered without a problem with any other FTP client I tried. [alert admin]

I stated my experience and I assume you are employed by RealMac software refuting all non positive comments made by different members. I just stated that it's not a Software which you can give to novice user who would quickly like to design a web page. UI could be fare more intuitive even myself (after using RW on and of for a while now) have to often go searching again for settings as they are…

yes but there is no reason for a software in this day and age to not have an automatic update feature. The weekly updates and the manual update process is just annoying

can't agree, I'm using Transmit and as a pure FTP client and it is pretty good, however ForkLift goes much further and I mainly use it to copy or compare files and view two HD's at the same time. If the FTP is also polished this could be very useful to.

ok thank you that helps however with sometimes 700-800 emails in my inbox it would be great just being able to select all and the un-select the last 30-40 by using the mouse similar as you would do it in the finder. also is there a feature no mark all selected email to be deleted as selecting and making each individual mail is to time consuming. thanks for developing and making it free merry xmas

have to agree the UI is quite shocking and not very intuitive, the sample explanation pictures he uses are out of a cheap picture collection and do not scale with the window size so if you have a big monitor you a greeted by pixelated pics.the missing auto update feature for a software which is updated nearly weekly is also a big minus. On the other hand Vue Scann does what it says and does that…
