Toast Titanium 8.0 (Mac OS X)
if you own toast 7 and want to upgrade then go to the update section on roxio's site and select toast 7, you will then see a link to upgrade to toast 8 for $59.99. if you add it to your shopping cart and then just let the shopping cart page sit for a little while (do not check out yet), after a few minutes a pop-up window will appear on the page that says something along the lines of "undecided, purchase now and get an additional 10% off", click ok on the pop-up window and the shopping cart will then update with the 10% - toast 8 upgrade will then only cost you $53.99 [alert admin]

FLACer 1.1 (Mac OS X)
works in tiger but when decoding to AIFFs it gets stuck at 112.5mb. i tried with a couple different large flac files and all of them started to decode to AIFFs but when the AIFF reached 112.5mb FLACer just got stuck in an endless loop. for files under 112.5mb decoded the program works fine. Yahoo Local Traffic 1.0 (Mac OS X)
please add scrolling because the window is too small to list all the traffic. other then that, i'd have to say that this is probably one of the most useful widgets around. [alert admin]

nobody has mentioned this but this updater also added a SLEEP button to the menu on my 3rd gen ipod (along with the shuffle and additional on-the-go playlist options). a little late on the updates for older ipods but at least apple hasn't forgotten about us. [alert admin]

Apple Security Update 2005-002 (Mac OS X)
is it me or has this security update fixed the loophole in safari where pop-up (pop-under) ads started to show up? i am pretty certain that Safari is now blocking pop-under ads..... everything else is running smoothly as always. [alert admin]

actually to be fair to the earlier comments, roxio added the upgrade price of $59.99 later on in the day. the original upgrade price said $99 with a $30 mail-in-rebate and you needed to have a copy of the original email invoice. the $59.99 upgrade price wasn't on roxio's site until after i got home from work.

"Update firmware can't update my superdrive." it's not that it 'can't' update your superdrive, it's just that your superdrive doesn't need this particular firmware update. the update is only for certain drives and not the one you have.

i am all up do date with the latest version of Java (1.4.2) some photos it works ok but others i keep getting that memory error. the photos (5mp) that do work take no more then 20-30 seconds to process, much faster time that you are getting but 10 seconds to me seems like an eternity :)
