Audio Hijack Pro 2.6.1 (Mac OS X)
I've used this app a lot and never had any difficulty. I'd recommend it highly. One of the best features is that you can use any number of 3rd party plug-ins to clean or enhance your audio. After a lot of trouble with a competing product, I'm very happy with this one. [alert admin]

pzizz 1.6 (Mac OS X)
This app is great. The combo of sound, speech and music is very relaxing and sleep inducing. A proper pdf instruction manual would be helpful however. The slick website says there is one, but it's a tips sheet and not nearly as comprehensive as it could/should be. There are a number of parameters to set and an explanation would be appreciated. Super Analyzer 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
but, really, a toy. The most important thing it tells me is that my tags need cleaning and frankly i don't want to.... That said, it works and it's "kinda cool". [alert admin]

Tomato Torrent 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
The inability to alter the ports settings makes this app a no-go for me. The range set in stone (seemingly) is blacklisted and/or blocked by many isps/trackers. Too bad, as I like the rest of the package. I hope the maker will change it. [alert admin]

eBook Library 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried to load several different text files into this prog. but it endlessly beachballs every time (it's gone over a million deletions before I'm forced to quit the damn thing). I have removed the before and after stuff fro the files, tried different files, but to no avail. Too bad, it looks like a great idea. [alert admin]

Crossword Forge 4.0.4 (Mac OS X)
C.F. works great and my kids like the crosswords and word searches. I'm amazed at how often the maker sends out updates. I've never had any problems ("issues" are something people debate aren't they?). [alert admin]

mpc2aiff 1.2 (Mac OS X)
This app works. I'm currently listening to an otherwise untouchable music file courtesy of mpc2aiff. It sounds great! The app worked fast and easy. The instructions make it look complicated...ignore them. Just download, open the folder, drag the app to "applications", open it, drag the .mpc files into the drop box, select the quality setting, hit go. Bingo, bango, and a couple of min.s, and you're done. [alert admin]

PatchBurn 3.0b9 (Mac OS X)
MacMini + LG4163B Super DVD + Toast = YES!! ![]()

I've used Patchburn to hook my Mac Mini to a LG superdrive (in an OWC firewire box) and bingo! she works with little effort and almost no problems. I use Disk Utility, Toast 6.x, and Popcorn to burn, and burn, and burn...yeah, baby, yeah! I also used it to make the superdive work with my old Blue and White G3 Yosemite. The only hiccup I encounter is that when I start burning a data disc in Toast I loose my internet radio link in iTunes. I have to hit play again to relink. Sometimes I even loose my usb connection to my speakers and have to unplug and replug the usb cable to get sound. This only happen when when I burn a data disc and I suspect it has more to do with a Toast/Mac interface problem, and not a Patchburn effect, as I don't recall this happentning when I used the drive with the B&W. And I can't update the superdrive firmwear as the file is for PCs. Oh yeah, Patchburn and Toast also allow me to make disc copies from the internal MacMini combo drive to the external superdrive--very handy for making and distributing material for the info war. ThermographX 1.2.6 (Mac OS X)
Mac mini owners, don't bother. I just tried it on mine and the app informed me that "there are no compatible sensors." So, it doesn't do anything whatsoever. [alert admin]

StuffIt Expander 9.0.1 (Mac OS X)
So, your stuffit app quits before it even gets started? Try the clean install protocol suggested in the FAQ section: http://support.allume.com/techsupport/forum/viewtopic.php?t=87 Worked for me....for how long I don't know but..... Bon Chance, Mes Amies [alert admin]
