iToner 1.0.6 (Mac OS X)

Last iTunes update removed my iToner ringtones...

Weird. They were there before I updated iTunes, now they're gone... Man it would be cool if I didn't have to do this over and over again...Not Ambrosia's fault per se, but doesn't make me want to pay the shareware fee. It does work flawlessly though. :) [alert admin]

Griffin gPort/g4Port 1.2 (Mac OS 9)

g4Port won't allow me to get through using Classic

I've been using the g4Port for a few years now, after having no luck with Keyspan's USB/Serial adapter in the past. the gPort saved our skins when we went from old PowerMac 8500's to G4's and their fancy "newfangled" USB!!! The tides have turned. Keyspan's latest update allows me to access my Graphtec vinyl plotter (which is serial) via USB, through a HUB no less! Awesome! I can finally switch over to OS X! (But I still have to run Outlook in Classic...blech.) Sadly, my department won't pay for an upgrade to the new version of FlexiSign, which is OS X compatible (so I hear), so we are stuck running FlexiSign in Classic mode. but at least now I can cut while booted in X! We run 10.2.2 now, and I'll try an upgrade asap. If anyone knows how to get gPort to work through Classic, I'd love to know! Griffin, get off yer buns and catch up! I much prefer the gPort, but until I can cut in OS X, I'm back with Keyspan. : ( [alert admin]
