Vienna 2.3.4.2305 (Mac OS X)
Great app, but .... lacks syncronization
Since I read RSS both on the Mac and the iPhone, I have been forced to move from Vienna to something else which provides synchronization. Hope this functionality will be added soon as I'm not happy at all with the replacement I have found (NetNewsWire 3.2) [alert admin]

DragThing 5.9.4 (Mac OS X)
I'm using DT for 10+ years ... in my opinion is one of the best examples of useful, elegant, very-difficult-to-live-without applications. Timely and effectively updated when needed, no useless 'upgrades'. Thank you! [alert admin]

Shrook 1.0 (iPhone)
The Mac and iPhone versions are, technically, "freeware"... with strings attached: synchronization is made through the Developer's site and, after one month trial, there is a monthly charge of $2.50. Nothing against this, except that they should have told the full story in the application's descriptions, and before the registration procedure - not at the end!. [alert admin]

Intego Personal Backup X5 10.5.5 (Mac OS X)
One year after, nothing has happened. Does Intego still exist? ![]()

Personal backup is unable to back-up my MacBook Pro's 160 GB hard disk into a 240 GB SATA external disk. It doesn't have enough space, the poor baby .... I had the same issue almost a year ago, I wrote a comment here, nothing has happened. I agree 100% with the other fellow users-reviewers: either at Intego they don't read feedback, either they don't care, either they don't know how to fix their "masterworks". Probably all the above. Type "F1", then a few letters of the name: the address & phone mumber pop up on the screen. You can copy it, enlarge it and, if you click on the name, you land on the Address Book's corresponding record. An utility you get addicted to. Absolutely great. [alert admin]

Pastor 1.8b2 (Mac OS X)
I fully agree with previous reviewers, the app is great although the INTERFACE is kind of surprising and disturbing. Examples: - the user discovers how to enter a password (including the one generated with the tool provided) only when, after having tried everything, decides to give up and quits the app: this is when the "enter password" dialogue shows up! - now a new, cryptic, mention appears in red when I open the app from my own corresponding Pastor document: "This is a beta release of Pastor! Use it with a copy of your Pastor Document only!". I'm the only user of the app, and there is only one Document attached, did I do something wrong? This somehow "impredictable" behavior has prompted me to create somewhere else a (encrypted) backup file with my data: you never know .... Next time, I may end up asking myself why to use Pastor in the first place.... I wish the developer will keep in mind that TRUST and PREDICTABILITY is good for all apps, but absolutely fundamental for THIS category of apps! You don't lock a door if you have doubts about what it will happen next time you want to open it! [alert admin]

Zipeg 2.0.0.777 (Mac OS X)
I agree with the previous comments: this is the kind of utility you can't do without as soon as you start using it! It's not mentioned, but it launches even by dragging the archive on the application's icon, an alias, or even the icon on the dock, or a 'DragThing' dock. [alert admin]

A suggestion for this 'must have' utility ![]()

A great piece of software (like others from 'Yellow Mug'), for me it's an absolute 'must have'. A suggestion: would it be possible to replicate one of the the functionalities of address-book: 'dial with skype' by control-clicking (near) the phone number? [alert admin]

Sparkle 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Interesting, but ...... .... I need to confess I am very happy with the current situation, where "polite" applications tell me that "a new version is available" and let me decide what I want to do. Even better, when they do so through a helpful third party, such as VersionTracker (I'm not connected whatsoever with them of course). I am not a developer, just a basic user, and guess what: I don't want anyone fiddling with my disk, installing applications and throwing away others. Even worse: leave someone else deciding that there is something "better for me". [alert admin]

I fully agree. Other pieces of software from the same developer (Yellow Mug), such as "TapDex" and "SnapNDrag" are equally 'KISS' and elegant.

Strange ... I also use Ti4Me (all the time) and command-tab. I did't notice any delay, the app-switching is just instantaneous, I don't think it could be faster. This on a PB G4 1.67 GHz, 1MB RAM, running 10.4.7
