I'm also seeing the crashing problem on my Core Duo, where it kernel panics. It looks like it's usually tied to some sort of network activity (the last time, I was copying a folder from a Windows 2003 server to Windows XP running in Parallels.) Other than the crashing problems, it looks like a nice product. [alert admin]

Virex X 7.5b1 (Mac OS X)
Do not allow the Virex beta to delete your files when it pops up that it has found two viruses called No-Name.dat in Mail. Hitting "Clean" reveals that the files do not actually exist. Hitting "Delete" may result in Virex deleting the entire mailbox. In general, the whole Virex beta seems very broken. [alert admin]
